Meret for Fast Company
Since September 2011, Fast Company, an American business magazine with focus on technology and design, is using Meret for text.
Not using the book weight but Meret’s light regular for text, gives the layout of Fast Company’s magazine a fresh feeling.
Besides having a clear place in the typographical hierarchy, every now and then space efficient Meret is also used for larger sizes. Slide-in quotes in layouts or subtitles on the cover are set in Meret, depending on issue and topic. Alongside Meret, three typeface families from Commercial Type are doing the main work of editorial design: condensed sans serif “Kaiser” and Antique Olive flavoured “Duplicate Sans” and “Duplicate Slab”.
