Niklas Reiprich
Niklas combines type, colour, and motion to create engaging designs that bring people together.
Niklas studied Communication Design in Saarbrücken with Indra Kupferschmid and quickly discovered his passion for designs with type. As a member of the Ludwigstraße60 art collective, he created several posters with a type-based aesthetic and completed three type design projects. For his bachelor’s thesis, he designed a typeface that combined different font styles from a Franco-German border village to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Franco-German friendship treaty.
Niklas has been enhancing his skills in creative coding and animation since 2023 as part of his Master’s degree programme in Communication Design in Mainz. He is also focusing on the field of science communication.
At TypeMates, Niklas develops visuals and graphics for type publications.
